fitz owns new hard drive...sort of
I talked crap @ 9:04 a.m. on 03.05.05
my old hard drive on my new(er) computer decided it felt like melting...go figure. well anyway, after about an hour on tech support, dell came to the conclusion that i had had for a few days: hard drive = bad. and that we need a new one. i congratulate dell, however, on only taking about 2 days to get the new one installed. woot. so my dad was installing drivers earlier fri, then he gets tired, so i do it. well the monitor decideds it doesnt want to change resolution or colors. BOOO! the driver doesnt work, the 3rd party one i tried from the internet didnt work...so i called tech support. again. an hour later, the monitor worked, the drivers were installed, and everyone lived happily ever after, the end. except. i have 1200 songs on my ipod. and theyre staying right there. they are on no computer. which kinda sucks. but the real point of this diary is that i have a plan. i am going to collect the of every song (almost) in my ipod, then just rip them to my comp. after i have a lot, ill put them on my ipod, but that prolly wont be for a while. oh well.
if you own cds, i want to borrow them.
